Ahmed has an extensive and diverse experience in the Human Resources since he started in the HR field back in 2007.
His career in the aviation sector started when he established the first Training Function at HOCHTIEF Facility Management Bahrain Airport WLL as the Head of Training & Development. In 2016, and upon joining Bahrain Airport Company as an HR Business Partner, Ahmed’s involvement in the transition of the Facility Management employees after its liquidation was crucial to the success of the change. Since then, he has been responsible for the Employee Relations, Corporate Events, Equal Opportunity, Recognition Schemes and Internal Communication.
Recently, he has been appointed as the Manager of the Organizational Development and Employee Relations Function at Bahrain Airport Company with the added responsibilities of Performance Management, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement and Organizational Culture.
Prior to his aviation career, Ahmed was first introduced to the HR field when he moved from the Instrumentation Maintenance to the HR department at Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) in the capacity of a Training Officer under the Academy of Leadership & Learning.
Besides his corporate experience, Ahmed is also highly active in the HR Community. He is currently the President at Bahrain Society for Training and Development (BSTD) and a Board member in the International Federation of Training and Development Organization (IFTDO). Through these initiatives, he has gained further exposure and development in the HRD, Leadership, Public Relation and Event Management Skills.
Bolstering his experience in the field, he has obtained a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and has a set of professional qualifications in the HR field. Also, he has participated and chaired sessions in several prestigious HR Conferences.
Ahmed is a self-driven, self-motivated individual, with a focus on detail and a drive towards goal achievement. Self-development is another one of his major strengths. He enjoys dealing with different types of people with different personalities and diverse ways of thinking. He finds it self-satisfying when he contributes to the inspiration, motivation and development of others.

He is currently the president at Bahrain Society for Training & Development.
