Dr. Amal AlJowder. Founder and President of Aspire Action Achievement Consulting and Event Management. She works part-time as a trainer at the Institute of Public Administration and a first health promotion expert at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) office in Bahrain. She has held positions in the Ministry of Health of Bahraini since 1986, the last of which was Director of Health Promotion and retired in January 2016. Dr. Amal received the Sasakawa Health Award, the most prestigious award of the WHO awards in 2009 for her outstanding achievements in this field. At the UN Palace in Geneva. It also delivered a speech on this occasion at the 7th plenary session of the 62nd General Assembly meeting and received $ 30,000 donated to purchase a Mobile Health Promotion Unit. The Doctor was honored by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain with a Bachelor of First Degree in 2011. Dr Amal is a Family Medicine Consultant. She practiced the profession for only six years from 1986 to 1992. Dr. Amal has contributed to many health issues and has provided many health talks on radio and television. She was the first to introduce health education and health promotion into the family medicine curriculum in Bahrain and the first to study in 1996. Dr. Amal has trained many officials of state ministries, members of NGOs and clubs in various health-related topics and their life experience during her career. Dr. Amal also participated in the preparation of the National Strategy for Education for All and for Youth and Women in the Kingdom of Bahrain. A member of the Board of Directors of a number of social, professional, women's and youth societies. She has already graduated from the political arena by running for the House of Representatives in 2006 and came in second place, surpassing 6 men number of votes. Currently Dr. Amal is the Vice President of Taayish and a member of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Society for Training and Development and a member of the Society of Businesswomen, the Bahraini Association for the Development of Women and Al-Hikma Association for retirees. Dr. Amal is passionate about reading and sports and loves travelling to new places she has never visited before.
